Some time ago I won £100 worth of craft goodies and I made this using some of the papers and embellishments from that prize. I wanted to make something "artsified" if you know what I mean and also  have the appearence of a type of vintage pin board. Way out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed using something different to what I usually do.  I cut out most of the items from some of the lovely papers and stamped the birdcage image onto kraft coloured paper. The buttons are just so beautifully embossed and gave a touch of red to pick up the border on the background card. There was a lovely pack of twine in my stash so I crocheted the flower in one colour and the handle with a darker colour. I assembled it all together and used the metal pin to hold the papers together.
I was thrilled with the result and have netered it into several challenges listed below.
