The challenge theme at penny Black and More http://pennyblackatallsorts.blogspot.co.uk/ this month is " All my favourite things". At this time of year, I love having picnics when the sun is shining and the flowers look so pretty. I love all kinds of cakes too and cake HAS to be on the picnic menu. I was trying to capture that summer scene when I made this card. The Penny Black stamp I used works perfectly for the challenge theme. I coloured the image with promarkers and aquamarkers with colours that coordinated with my backing papers. I added these beautiful flowers which I picked up at a craft show last year and the pearl brads which are both my favourite embellishments. The swirls, sentiment circle and image circle are cut from dies. I am happy with the final result.
