Card and tag

I wanted to make something bright, cheerful and summery. I chose  gorgeous papers from a My Minds Eye paper pad called Be Happy, which was part of an enormous craft stash  my friend Tina bought for my birthday. A few weeks ago  I ordered some new Marianne dies which had not even been taken out of the packet. I was itching to use them and this is the card and tag I made. I die cut a Marianne border die which can be threaded with ribbon. I cut half of it off leaving the scalloped  border. I cut a zig zag strip from one of the paper sheets and laid that over the  border. I used Marianne dies for the tag and bird cutting off a few of the tail feathers. The tiny flowers were cut from a die that was included with the tag set. They are so cute. To finish off  I added a ribbon, pearls and a tiny heart. Something a little bit different and I enjoyed making it.
