Summer Birthday with Penny Black


Lots of challenges caught my eye this week and I always find it difficult to choose which ones to enter. I had a list of over 20  I liked so set about making sure I had everything I needed to cover them all.
 The first two that caught my eye were moving along with the times http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.com/ who have a challenge to show your favourite things on your card and http://critterchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ who want you to make a birthday card for yourself . My favourite things are:- I love a birthday party, friends and cupcakes. I would love to get this card myself.

The pink elephant http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/  has an inspiration photo of cupcakes pictured above. I used my Penny Black image which includes a cupcake and used shades of pink from the inspiration  photo.

The Shabby tea room http://theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/ has an inspiration photo of a bracelet ( below) so I used the pink, green and gold  colours taken from that and added a  required charm.

Daring cardmakers http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/ are asking for the use of an inspirational photo from Pinterest http://pinterest.com/ and I found this cute cupcake photo ( below) on there to use for my inspiration.
