Mother's day card

I used one of my very old, favourite rubber stamps and some of my favourite pink shades of card to make this card. I went for a shabby chic style but I wasn't sure if  the pinks and grey would work together. It is a colour theme I have been going to try for some time and I am happy with the result. My only afterthought is that the image would have been better stamped with a  darker colour. I tried it with black and dark grey ink but it was too bold. I tried it with pale grey but that hardly stood out at all. In the end I plumped for this pink shade after trying several pink ink shades. I spent far to much time on the inking and was getting fed up with the card. I added a tiny bit of grey chalk to the hat to link it in with the grey in my paper but it does not show up well in the photo. Anyway this is the final result and I am sure my Mother-in-law will like it. There are a few challenges I wanted to enter my card into and I have listed them below.
