One for the Boys


It's a new challenge at Penny Black and More this month and the theme is "One for the boys". I will admit that I do not enjoy making cards for males but as I like this cute image I quite enjoyed making my card. It did not photograph very well but that happens often on dreary days. I even managed to use some old and forgotten papers and card. I used stars, buttons, ribbon, twine, thick mesh and a sentiment to finish it off.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE A PENNY BLACK IMAGE TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE BUT STRICTLY NO DIGIS. There are several craft prizes up for grabs this month for the PB challenge.

    There are so many things I love about this card! First of all, what a pretty boy image, and I love the effect of the delicate coloring! Second, I love the added texture, it makes such a nice border and it works so well with this design! Also I like your choice of colors and the added buttons are fun details. I spotted your card on MIM and had to come over to have a closer look!
