Flower pot card

The Playdatecafe (http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/) are using the above pictures as inspiration for their current colour challenge. These are some of my favourite colours so I decided to make something for that challenge.
While on holiday I scribbled a few sketches of cards and projects I wanted to do when I returned home. One of those sketches was a Flower pot card. I found the two Urban Lily papers in my stash and decided to use one of the larger circles for the centre of my Flower. I cut two scalloped dies in my wizard and punches tiny holes around the smaller circle. I added the flower circle to the centre and added five felt flowers round the edge and a single White Flower to the centre. I made a stalk from thick card and attatched this to the Flower. After a few attempts I managed to cut the Flower pot and crease it correctly. I then glued the stalk to the back of the pot and tied my ribbon around the stalk.

This is where it all goes wrong as the when I stood the card up the weight of the Flower toppled the card. I was getting very frustrated with trying to get the right size and weight to hold up the card. In the end I glued one of the larger pots I made over the smaller one to give it extra weight. I then covered the inside with nice paper so it could not be seen. My third attempt worked perfectly so I embellished my pot with the same card and Flowers I used previously. I cut a small tag freehand, added my sentiment and tied the tiny Trowel to the ribbon. I punched out a small Butterfly and attatched this to finish off my card. I was pleased with the result in the end. Here is a list of other challenges I entered:-
