Christmas card


The challenge at Kaboodledoodles http://kaboodledoodles.blogspot.com/  this week is to use torn paper or card. The sponsor for the challenge is Shelly from  http://shellysimages.com/  and the prize up for grabs is 3 digi images. I loved the look of this digi stamp by Shelly and decided to keep it quite plain and to make it stand out on my card. I did some distressing around my circle die cut with black chalk. I tried to make it look as though it was night with the chalking  and the inner white would represent the brightness of snow. I used torn and distressed paper  in the beckground and finished it off with a die cut  and embossed edge,  some ribbon and embellishments. I really liked the finished effect.
I managed to find a few challenges to enter which are listed below.
