Shabby spring card
The frame and border were cut on my Cricut machine and the bird is a Marianne die cut. I distressed my paper edges and I layered the frame with foam pads to give it some lift. I made the flower myself by gathering some lace into a circle for the outer layer. The second layer is cut from a small scalloped die and I added a button to the centre tied with some twine.
My friends know I am not a "white space" person, so this is the nearest I will probably get to a "clean and simple" card. I must admit I enjoyed making it but am a bit disappointed that it did not photograph well. I gave up after trying three times.

Well your card is just fantastic - love it - slightly different to what you had worked on when you were at mine (ha ha!!) but love it just as much!! So glad you made it over to the Card Patterns sketch - you never know I might even get you doing a CAS card soon......... I bet that thought has made you shudder thinking of all that white space - LOL.
