Sweetie basket

This is a fairly easy little basket to make. I made it using one sheet of 8 x 8 thick paper. The sheet I used came from a pad by Craftwork Cards which is very good quality. You need a decent thickness to make it strong enough to hold sweets etc. This is a link for instructions to make this sweetie holder http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/treat_box/
I used an 8 x 8 sheet instead of the 12 x 12 and used patterned paper so I did not need to cut out all the little pattterned pieces to cover it. If you do the same, you can leave out instructions 6 - 8. I also added a  handle to make mine a basket rather than a box. I cut a pretty scrolled sentiment label with my Bigshot and added my sentiment to the centre. I decorated the outside with different flowers and ribbons to finished it off . I will fill mine with sweeties to give to my Granddaughter on her birthday. My box is being featured today on the "focus on you" post on Craftwork Cards blog
I have entered this into few challenges listed below.
