Fun flowers and card set

I made this set using some of CraftWork cards papers and flowers. It took me a week to make the set as the flowers are very detailed. The vase is an empty Olive jar and I used coffee stirers for the stems of the flowers. This set is being featured today on the CC blog on the "focus on you" post.

A closer look at the jar which I filled with shredded tissue paper. I covered the the top of the jar with ribbon and trim to cover the lid screw lines. I used dotty and check papers and punched a lovely border on the check paper.

I used liquid pearls and a sparkly button to add a little bit of interest to the jar.

I wanted to make a sort of afternoon tea card so I fished out these old teapot and cup stamps that I have had for about ten years or more, yes ten. I distressed and inked the edges of the Kraft card, paper, sentiment and doily. I also used liquid pearls and a sparkly button to match in with the vase.

I layered up different flowers and added texture with pearly doodles on each layer of all the flowers.

I inked all the coffee stirers and added pearly doodles to try and disguise what they were.

I had lots of oddments of organza ribbon so I added different coloured pieces to the top of the stirer.
