This is a little house I made which makes a good gift holder ( I put chocolates in mine). The roof is hinged so a small gift or Chocolates can be put inside. I used papers and kraft card from CraftWork cards. The pretty pink and turquoise papers are printed with tiny flowers which worked perfectly for this project. For the apex of the roof I cut DP using scalloped edged scissors. I measured to strips of white card and punched the four edges. I then glued each piece to either side of the roof and glued two of the patterned edges upright to make the peak. Scaps of Kraft card were used to make the windows and door and I used a metal flower brad for the door handle. I punched flowers to decorate the front of the house and added Candi to the centres. I punched and added mini butterflies/ flowers/ die cuts/ stitched flower length and ribbon to decorate. You might just be able to see the loop handle on the roof for carrying the house. I made this by twisting white wire around ribbon and pushed it through the two holes I made with my Cropadile.
It took a good bit of time to make due to the measuring and the fiddly bits but I love my little house.
I have entered it into a few challenges listed below.
