Dashing through snow

I really enjoyed making my card. I just purchased a new Penny Black Stamp which is called "dashing through snow" and I couldn't wait to use her. I used a lovely shaped card with embossed stars at the bottom. I was going to leave the image uncoloured but in the end I decided to give it a Nordic look by  paper piecing it. I am really pleased with the result.
Now I need to remind you that the new Penny Black and More challenge for the month of October is " Get ahead for Christmas" and there are several craft prizes up for grabs. Sponsors for this month are Penny Black, FlonzCraft, Nicecrane and Marianne designs. Pop over to the Penny black and More blog for all the details of the challenge and to see the beautiful cards made by the design team.

I have entered my card into the challenges listed below.

This is a stunner Shirley, I am a real fan of paper piecing (probably because I can't colour in) and this looks really good in red and white.

Hope you have a good Sunday.
