Penny Black stamps and cards

Yippeeeeeee. These are ny new Penny Black slapstick stamps which I think are exceptional value for money at only £4.50 each. They come with a lovely thick foam mounted backing ready for you to put on an acrylic block. When you think that a downloadable digi image costs approx £2-£3 and you get these to keep forever, that seems to me to be a good buy. The price for these stamps differs quite a lot from shop too shop. The cheapest I found and bought, were from  http://www.craftyideasbykaz.co.uk/ and they were free p&p too.
While I am on the subject of Penny Black stamps, how many of you know about The PENNY BLACK AT ALLSORTS MONTHLY CHALLENGE BLOG    http://pennyblackatallsorts.blogspot.com/    which is sponsored by Penny Black itself . If you pop over you will be able to check out this month's challenge and see the 4  PENNY BLACK STAMPS THAT ARE UP FOR GRABS. As the challenge runs for a whole month you have plenty of time to get your entry in. If you don't have any Penny Black stamps there are allways plenty of images available to purchase on e-bay. Anyway I thought I would give you a little inspiration by showing you some of the cards I have made in the past with my PB stamps.

Hi Shirl

Wow what great value those new PB stamps are! Thanks for the reminder of the PB challenge blog too - must get my finger out and create a card to enter the challenge as the prizes are great!

Love all your card inspirations you pack so much detail into your cards and all are totally gorgeous that I can't pick a favourite as I like 'em all!

Take care and see you soon.

Wonderful inspiration Shirley.

I am a big fan of slapsticks as well, they are such good value and stamp out just as well as a wood monuted stamp.

The little girls with the umberella colours up beautifully, well they all do but of course we all have aour favourites and I think mine is still the little girl with the bunnies.

When it came out in the Summer I just had to have it....call me sentimental, but it reminds me so much of a a picture of myself when I was about three, one of the lovely 50's hats and coats and the obligatory T bar shoes.

Have a good weekend.

Thanks also for the link to the cheaper PBs!
I love these cards, that first DP is so clean and simple and I wouldn't have thought to use it-the effect is fab.Love that blue dotty paper effect too.

Lovely cards, love the purple one especially. Thanks for your comments on my blog and also for the tip about the Allsorts challenge. I've given it a go as PB stamps were the reason I got into stamping, and remain one of my top favourite brands. Thanks for the inspiration.
