A girly Christmas card
Well here we are at the beginning of December and another new challenge at Penny Black and More. This month the theme is traditional Christmas colours and as usual you have the chance to win one of several lovely craft prizes. Pop over to the PB blog for all the details.
I made my Christmas card with my little Granddaughter in mind and I am sure she will love it. I mixed old, recycled, free and new and it seemed to work to my liking. The ribbon is recycled from an old Thornton's chocolate box which has been in my stash for a couple of years waiting for the right card to use it on and the backing paper is a magazine freebie. I also used a Penny Black image which I have had for a few years. It comes out every year like clockwork as I love it. The ribbon is edged with gold and the lace has a gold sparkle running through it. It's a shame the card did not photograph well as these have not shown up.
