In the garden

A new month and time for the Penny Black and More September challenge which is add a sentiment. Don't forget you will still need a focal point stamped image too. There are several prizes to be won and the sponsors are Penny Black, Crafty Ribbons, Sizzix, Sam and Marianne. Pop over to the blog for all the info and take a peek at the beautiful cards the design team have made for your inspiration.

I picked up a cheap pad of papers while shopping in the Range and this gorgeous blue paper was inside.  I added a quick mat of black card underneath and added my gorgeous PB image called Garden helper. I only added a very small ammount of blue shading on my image to keep it simple. Without making it over fussy I added a swirly die cut with a few black pearls added. I finished it off with a birthday sentiment mounted on black card and a strip of lace with added white pearls. I am really happy with this card and it will be added to my "to sell" box.
