PB Xmas Tag

A little Christmas tag I made using a free Penny Black set called Wonder Collection that came with a craft magazine. The Poinsettia is beautiful and I just stamped it twice and water coloured the images. Also included in the set was the
sentiment that fitted perfectly on the corner of my tag. A few embellishments and ribbon finished it off beautifully.
A quick reminder that the Penny Black and More challenge is still live and you have the chance to win some fabulous craft goodies. this month's sponsors are Penny Black, Flonz, Nicecrane and crafty Ribbons. Pop over to the blog to get all the challenge information and see the beautiful work of the design team.

Xmas Reindeer

It's time for a new challenge at Penny Black and More and the theme is Special Occasions. This can be any occasion including Christmas. The challenge runs for a month so you have plenty of time to enter. Just remember NO DIGIS allowed.
Pop over to the PB blog using the link above to see the rules, sponsors and beautiful cards made by the design team.
I have made my card using my new Penny Black stamp set called "Prancers"  The trees are so pretty and I love the pattern on the cute Reindeer.  I had to carefully cut around the stamped images of the reindeer in case I cut their antlers and legs off. The grey areas are in fact silver glitter card but I could not get it to show properly when taking the photo.

I have entered my card into the challenges listed below.

PB Christmas Time

I've made a cute Christmas card using a lovely winter scene backing paper. Purple card, glitter card, purple ribbon, a bow die cut and a glitzy button were used to make my card. I used Promarkers to put a little colour on my cute Penny Black image.
Now for a quick reminder. The theme for the November challenge at Penny Black and More is Anything Goes. You can enter using any image except a digi image. There is still plenty of time to enter and there are some lovely craft goodies up for grabs. For all the rules and design team inspiration pop over to the PB blog.

Girly Christmas

I found some lovely Christmas papers in my stash that were free in a magazine a couple of years ago. I really liked them and thought they would work well on a larger card as the print is quite large. I used an 8"x 8" card and was pleased with the result. The Snowflake border die was lent to me by a friend. The cute image is called Decorate The Season 40-028 by Penny Black.
Now a reminder that it's time for another Penny Black and More challenge and the theme for November is Celebrate. I've chosen Christmas but you can use any celebration for your project. All the details, sponsors and the design team projects can be found here.

Creative greetings from Annelies and Design Team Crealies

Today I am show casing the new mask No 14

I mixed blue ink with masking paste until I had a lovely blue color. I laid the mask on some white card and spread the paste into the heart shapes and smoothed it over. After I removed the stencil
I left the paste to dry overnight
I then cut the card into strips to use at the bottom of my card and gift tag.
I also used the Following Crealies products.

Crea-nest-Lies dies No. 14 XXL
Set of three dies no. 17 Flowers 11
Partz dies no.2 eyes

Blue Christmas

For my Crealies project today I have made a Christmas card with
untraditional colours.
I die cut 2 triangles using using Crea-Lest-Lies dies no. 17, 2 flowers using the smallest die of Set of 3 no. 17 Flowers 11, several of the smallest round shapes from Partz dies no. 2 eyes and 3 of Decorette that no. 5 ( I cut these die cuts down to the little squares and used these sideways to make a border around the tree)

Christmas Bag

Today I am sharing my Crealies project with you.
I found a pack of kraft bags in my local craft shop and though they would look great if they were decorated. So for my Crealies project I decided to give one of them a Shabby Vintage Christmas make over.
I used 3 brand new Crealies Dies. Decorette die no 6, Partz die no 2 and Double fun die no 15.
I distressed my papers and layered them on the bag first. I made and distressed a tag and added to the centre tucking the trellis effect die cuts just behind the tag on both sides. I die cut the flowers and distressed the petals. I added the leaves, ribbons, bows and bell to the bag and glued tiny gold beads to the centre of the flowers. I finished off by stamping a sentiment on the Double fun no. 15 die cut and added it and the mini spots from Partz die no. 2 to the bag.

Dashing through snow

I really enjoyed making my card. I just purchased a new Penny Black Stamp which is called "dashing through snow" and I couldn't wait to use her. I used a lovely shaped card with embossed stars at the bottom. I was going to leave the image uncoloured but in the end I decided to give it a Nordic look by  paper piecing it. I am really pleased with the result.
Now I need to remind you that the new Penny Black and More challenge for the month of October is " Get ahead for Christmas" and there are several craft prizes up for grabs. Sponsors for this month are Penny Black, FlonzCraft, Nicecrane and Marianne designs. Pop over to the Penny black and More blog for all the details of the challenge and to see the beautiful cards made by the design team.
