Pink floral

The theme for the Penny Black and More challenge for March is Blossoms and Bows and this is my DT card. I used my new Penny Black slapstick stamp called Botanical Notes. I decided to water colour the image so I could give the flowers and leaves plenty of light and shade areas. I never seem to be able to do that with my Promarkers. I decided not to overdress my card and added minimal embellishments to finish it off.
If you would like to enter the PB challenge pop over to the blog using the link above and check out the details. There are several prizes up for grabs from Sponsors Penny Black, All occasion dies, Crafty ribbons, Sizzix and Marianne designs

Floral card

I bought a pack of lovely shaped cards at Ally Pally last year and this is the first card I have made using one of them. I fell in love with these pretty floral papers with their lovely soft pastel colours and decided they would be perfect for this shaped card. I was so pleased when it was finished as I achieved  this lovely floral garden scene.
I have entered it into the challenges listed below.

Spring

My bright and cheerful card with thoughts of Spring in mind. The papers are by Craftwork cards and I love the mixture of cream, turquoise and shades of red and pink together. I decoupaged the bicycle to give it some depth and added flowers to the centre of the wheels too. The flower, leaves and butterfly dies are Crealies. The little banner finished off the Spring theme.

I have entered it into the challenges listed below.

I had to enter the "Who is Tracy" challenge first as the Mood Board inspired the spring theme for my card.

Flower Basket

I used my favourite colours of Pink and Purple with a touch of Turquoise and two Penny Black stamped images ( Dance, Sing, Love 2695J and A Gift of Flowers 4076k ).  I found some very old purple flowers in my stash and thought it a good idea to use some of them. I used flower trim, diamontes, mini pearls and pearl buttons to finish of my card.
A reminder too that it is half way through the Anything goes challenge at Penny Black and More so there is still plenty of time to enter. Pop over to the blog for all the details and the list of prizes for this month.

Penny Black Sentiment card

Another Penny Black and More challenge and this month the theme is Anything goes but NO DIGIS .  I have used "Garden of Life" (No 4263F) sentiment as the focal point on my card. I don't normally use yellow but I had a free paper pad with this gorgeous floral paper. It helped link the white sentiment with the white flowers on the paper. I added pretty sparkly trim and a strip of pom poms along the bottom. Flowers and a few diamontes finished it off.
There are more inspirational projects from the DT and a list of sponsors and prizes on the Penny Black and More blog. Pop over and check out the rules and the fabulous prizes to be won this month.

Lilac Flowers

The challenge at Penny Black and More for the month of January is Stencils, Masks and Embossing folders and it is time for mid month inspiration.
I used a dotted embossed card for the background layer and  the lovely deep embossed "Tied together" embossing folder to make the foremost layer. This is my most favourite embossing folder as it is so versatile and looks really pretty with the addition of pearls. I also used the lovely daisy style flower stamp from a Penny Black set called Flower Festival which I water coloured. A few pearls, bows and ruffled ribbon finished it off.

PB Xmas Tag

A little Christmas tag I made using a free Penny Black set called Wonder Collection that came with a craft magazine. The Poinsettia is beautiful and I just stamped it twice and water coloured the images. Also included in the set was the
sentiment that fitted perfectly on the corner of my tag. A few embellishments and ribbon finished it off beautifully.
A quick reminder that the Penny Black and More challenge is still live and you have the chance to win some fabulous craft goodies. this month's sponsors are Penny Black, Flonz, Nicecrane and crafty Ribbons. Xmas Reindeer

It's time for a new challenge at Penny Black and More and the theme is Special Occasions. This can be any occasion including Christmas. The challenge runs for a month so you have plenty of time to enter. Just remember NO DIGIS allowed.
Pop over to the PB blog using the link above to see the rules, sponsors and beautiful cards made by the design team.
I have made my card using my new Penny Black stamp set called "Prancers"  The trees are so pretty and I love the pattern on the cute Reindeer.  I had to carefully cut around the stamped images of the reindeer in case I cut their antlers and legs off. The grey areas are in fact silver glitter card but I could not get it to show properly when taking the photo.

I have entered my card into the challenges listed below.
